Hey everyone! Happy Monday! I wanted to share a card I made today that was created with two different stamp sets. The new Just Because Hostess stamp set (the only way to get this is to host a qualifying party or place a $150.00 or more) in the new Occasions Catalog and the Love What You Do stamp set from the Annual Catalog. I actually stamped it on one of the new Whisper White Narrow Note Cards. You get 20 cards and 20 envelopes in a pack which gives you plenty to create with and share. Now I did something today that I NEVER do…I cut one of my stamps apart!!! AAAHHHH!!! lol now I know that’s nothing new to some, but I have always had an aversion to doing this…it’s like sacrilege to destroy a stamp! lol But in this case I just had to do it! The plant image is the one I cut apart. It comes in the set with the words Happy Mother’s Day, and where normally I would just mask the words, it was just too much to mask. Sooooo, I took the plunge!! I actually trimmed two in the set and now I have even more options to stamp! 🙂

I used the Love What You Do stamp set for the watercolor image so I didn’t have to color the plant. I stamped the plant image in Memento ink first, then I inked the watercolor image in Lemon Lime Twist, stamped off, then stamped right over the plant. It’s the easiest way to color an image when you’re mass producing a card. Since this is one of the thank you notes from my January Club orders, I wanted them all to know that I really “love what I do”, so that was the sentiment I used. Have to say, it was one of the fastest cards I’ve created in awhile.

If any of these items are on your wish list, you can shop now over at my online store. The Hostess Code for January is 2X3WFV6N unless your order is $150.00 or more, then you get to be the hostess and can get this adorable Just Because stamp set. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great evening!
